Wheeler's has exactly what you expect... the food wasn't particularity exciting, but the prices were good, and were were happy with our meals. We ordered a cookie dough shake which was top notch with LOTS of cookie dough (nearly everybody had shakes, so it is obviously one of their most popular items). My daughter got the burrito and unfortunately it was less than impressive... really small and basically like a burrito from the freezer section.

Nice spot for a quick stop on your way through town. Food was alright, and where we were expecting or hoping to get something a little more "diner" style for our money, it was obviously something simply reheated and slapped together. Sad also that they provide very small dipping sauces, and then charge additional money for the same small cups; felt ripped off. We order a large fry, which would be roughly the size of a medium or small that you get from McDonalds served on a plate and about the same quality. Would have given less stars, but they did have a very good shake, and that was a redeeming product. Staff is all very young with what appeared to be no adult on site, and were busy gossiping and discussing things outside of work while behind the counter, which was distracting a rude.

this is hometown dining at its finest. Not quite fast food but very fast service. The food is delicious and the staff is always friendly. They take special orders in their stride and the milkshakes are to-die-for. Come on in and get one of the seasonal milkshakes you will not be disappointed.

I love stopping by at Wheeler's drive in whenever I come down to mount pleasant (I live 4+ hours away) They have the best french fries around and have great fry sauce. They also have pretty great burgers. It's definitely a favorite place to stop whenever my family is passing through. It might take a bit longer than a big fast food chain like McDonald's, but it is totally worth it!
